The Words Of An Idiot In Sussex.

Capital D.

I can't remember,
What I forgot to say,
I know your face,
But not your name,

I remember it was,
When we were three,
You've grown a lot,
Since then to me,

Who are you,
I know your face,
Are we related,
Am I in the right place,

I hate it here,
It's my favourite spot,
Don't move a thing,
Least I forgot,

Remember the match,
My favourite sport,
Rugby, no Football,
It all needs a sort,

Match of the day,
With Jimmy Hill,
3-1 to Spurs,
What a thrill,

Ramsey, Blanchflower,
Mackay and Brooks,
Forgotten goals,
They took some knocks,
The greats have gone,
The memories fade,
Let's have a cup of tea,
To the glory days,

To me a shell,
The former man,
The spark has gone,
No higher plan,

A glamorous Woman,
Who knows not Rykiel
Might get dressed,
Let's wait a while,

Their favourite meal
But what to eat
Still want independence,
But don't know what week,

You are so good to me,
But don’t know who you are,
You were only just here,
It's all a muddle so far,

No cure, No reason,
No right, No rhyme,
The brain is going,
The body still fine.
